Yoga that meets you exactly where you are.
Nitya has taught since 2000, in schools, aged care, rehabilitation and corporate rooms, and now from a small studio on Lincoln Street, Forster. Beginners are the point, not the exception.
Accredited yoga teacher since 2000. Yoga therapist, marma therapist and ayurvedic lifestyle coach. Studio, home visits or online.
Three ways Nitya works with you
All of it one to one, in the studio, at your place or over Zoom. The first fifteen minutes is free, so you can work out what you actually need.
Yoga therapy
A private consultation that looks at your body, your history and your day, then builds a practice around it. You leave the first session with a take-home program written for you.
Marma therapy
Gentle, precise work on the body’s vital points, drawn from the ayurvedic tradition. Deeply calming, and useful when tension has settled somewhere and will not shift.
Ayurvedic lifestyle
The daily routines, the food, the sleep. Practical ayurveda for how you actually live, including plant-based food workshops using ayurvedic and macrobiotic principles.

Twenty-five years of teaching
Nitya has taught in some of the least likely rooms yoga turns up in, which is where you learn to meet a person exactly as they arrive. She has run workshops and retreats here and overseas, including a five day course at Camp Creative in Bellingen on awakening your creative nature through the chakras and mandala work.
